These terms govern the use of Zariz Virtual Try-on (the "App"), an application for Shopify stores developed and operated by Rodrigo Quilaqueo, under the trade name ZarizSoftware, based in Santiago, Chile ("ZarizSoftware", "we", "us").
Who these terms apply to
Merchants: the stores that install the App. By installing it, they accept all of these terms.
Shoppers: the people who use the virtual try-on in a store. By uploading a photo, they accept sections 1 to 3 and the Privacy Policy.
For everyone
1. What the App is
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate an approximate image of how a garment would look on the person in a photo.
The result is a simulation. It may not accurately reflect the garment's size, fit, color, texture or drape. It does not replace the store's product information or size guide.
2. Requirements for using the try-on
Be 18 years or older.
Upload only photos of yourself, or of an adult who has expressly authorized you.
Do not upload photos of minors, nudity or sexual content, violent or offensive content, or photos that impersonate someone else.
Do not use the App to generate misleading or defamatory images, or images that infringe third-party rights.
Do not try to get around usage limits (for example, with automated requests) or interfere with the operation of the service.
Images that don't follow these rules may be blocked automatically by safety filters.
3. Your photos and the generated images
You remain the owner of your photo. You give us a limited permission to process it only to generate the virtual try-on.
We do not use your photos to train artificial intelligence models.
The photo is deleted as soon as the generation finishes, and the generated image is deleted within 24 hours at most. If you want to keep the result, save it yourself.
For merchants
4. Use of the App
You may use the App in your Shopify store while it is installed and these terms are followed.
5. Your responsibilities
Inform your customers about the use of the virtual try-on — for example, by listing ZarizSoftware as a provider in your store's privacy policy.
Hold the rights to the product images the App uses to generate try-ons.
Comply with the consumer protection and personal data laws that apply to your store.
Make sure the try-ons you generate from the admin panel (Try it out) follow section 2.
6. Credits, plans and packs
The App works with credits: each virtual try-on generated uses 1 credit.
How you get them

Free trial: 25 try-ons for 7 days, only with the store's first subscription
7 days
Monthly plan: the try-ons included in the plan, every 30-day period
Until the end of the period. Unused try-ons do not carry over
Pack: one-time payment
3 months from purchase
Prices: current prices are shown in the App's Plans & packs section, in U.S. dollars (USD).
Billing: all charges are made by Shopify on your Shopify bill, and only after you approve them. Applicable taxes are charged according to Shopify's rules.
Order of use: first the try-ons reserved in a campaign for that product, then the plan's, then the packs'. Within each type, those that expire first are used first.
Failed generations: if a generation fails or is blocked by a safety filter, the credit is refunded automatically.
No credits: the try-on is hidden automatically in your store until you have credits.
Campaigns: you can reserve credits for a product. When the campaign runs out or ends, the try-on is hidden on that product until you remove the campaign, and unused credits return to your balance.
Changing plans: the previous plan's credits are replaced by the new plan's.
Cancellation: you can cancel your plan at any time in the App. There is no prorated refund for the current period, and that period's credits remain available until it ends.
Refunds: used credits are non-refundable. This does not affect any non-waivable rights the law gives you.
Price changes: we will give at least 30 days' notice. New prices apply from the next period or purchase.
7. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the App available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service depends on third parties, such as Shopify and Google Cloud, and may be interrupted by maintenance, failures of those providers or causes beyond our control. Generation takes about 20 seconds and may vary.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
the App is provided "as is";
we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost sales, or purchase decisions made based on a generated image;
our total liability to a merchant will not exceed the amount the merchant paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it.
These limitations do not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, or to consumers' non-waivable rights.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. When you do, any remaining credits are lost and your store's data is deleted within the following 48 hours, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend the App in a store for serious breaches of these terms, such as abusive use or prohibited photos.
If we discontinue the App, we will give at least 60 days' notice, during which you can use the credits you have.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version at this same address and, if the change is significant, notify merchants at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the App after that date means accepting the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of Santiago, Chile, without prejudice to consumers' rights — including the option of going to SERNAC, Chile's consumer protection agency — and to any mandatory rules of the user's country that apply.
